YOUTUBE....
a video sharing website where users can upload, view and share video clips.
if you would ask me how often do i actually visit youtube ? i can say may be once in two weeks. youtube is a place where i can look at people's video for free. Anyone could post any video he or she wants online. There is a wide range of informations on the youtube.people could also post what he orshe thinks about the video . It is also a useful tool to do research. Besides for doing research. it could be used as a entertainment.
Talking cock.com is a wesite for singaporeeans who wants to express his or her opinions and also thoughts.The topic there is really intresting, as it jokes about the current affiars. The informations there are notreally useful, but it is mainly for fun and laughters.The layout of the website is rather eye catching, due tothe colour of it. The name of is is also interesting. The name of the wesite is also the same as the informationsprovided in it, mainly joking about the current affiars. I think it is rather unfair to the authority after i had evaluate the website. It is mainly about how the people feel, but yet the person who is being critisie is not being able to defend for him or herself.The information provided could be really baised, and hence not reliable.

Redang Island, locally known as Pulau Redang or just "Redang". It is one of the largest islands off the east coast of Malaysia . It is a very popular holiday island for Malaysians, most of whom come on package deals to one of the resorts.
Redang is one of nine islands, which form a marine park, and which offer snorkeling and diving opportunities. Access is from Merang or Kuala Terengganuon boats operated by the resorts; there is also a small airport with services operated by Berjaya Air from Singapore (Seletar Airport) and Kuala Lumpur (Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport).
The island is also an important conservation site for Sea turtles. Previously, the indiscriminate economic exploitation of turtle eggs had caused fewer turtles returning to nest on the island. This has led the Terengganu state government to set up the Koperasi Setiajaya Pulau Redang in 1989, a cooperative aiming to develop and manage socio-economic programmes that could improve the livelihood of Pulau Redang locals without endangering its natural resources.

What had i learned today ?
ok.. to be honest i was a little lost on what to do and was not very sure about what to do, and i had doing my work rather slow , as i have alot more other assignment to do. But i had mannage to use what i have learn in form EIR into my other school assignments.

We were to briefly explain our experience using the gateway that i had choosen, i was kind of lost as this search tool was different from the previous few that i had used so far.

What benefits do i get when using different search facilities to search for resources related to my topic?
i have choosen metacrawler and yahoo to do my research for this next assignment, using the different search facilities to search for resources related to my topic the effects of eating disorders on teenagers.
Metacrawler is a search engine that blends the top web search results from google, yahoo, live searchask.com,about.com, Mive, Looksmartand other popular search engines. MetaCrawler also provides users the option to search for images, audio, video, news, yellow pages and white pages. MetaCrawler is a registered trademark of InfoSpace, (formerly MSN Search).
Yahoo yahoo presents a list of actual information, which may include: news headlines, images from Yahoo’s Flickr photos site, business listings, local weather and links to other sites. Instead of showing only, for example, popular movies or some critical reviews, oneSearch lists local theaters that at the moment are playing a certain movie, user ratings and news headlines regarding the movie. A zip code or city name is required for Yahoo! oneSearch to start delivering local search results.
In this assignment i had learn about the different types of search engine and the different uses of it. It is kind of useful,as usually i would only know how to use the google search engine and nothing else.In future for assignment i would try to use these search enginges for my assignment research and also prokect research, as some search engine provides more than what google provides.

Include Site Feeds into personal Blogs
I had added 4 Person's blog into my blog links.mostly people from my class or group mates. They are Ying Shan, Zuraizan, Wei zhen and also Adam.
i think that puting links on your blog gives you alot of advantages, it not only helps you to be able to visit your friend's blog any time you want even thou you had forgotten the link or you do not have the habit to remember links. Adding links onto blogs also help people to advertise the other person's blog. So i think that having links on the blogs is very useful.
In addition, i had actually added a tag boad to my blog, in this way people can come to this blog and give me comments or to give me their links so that i can post his or her links onto the blog so that other people could view it.
